the æ wedding
The Andrew and Ellyn (aka æ ) Wedding was so amazing, here are some of the shots from the wedding. I love taking pictures, and everything was just so pretty that it made it so easy to take some really neat pictures.
My husband, Brad was honoured to be able to walk his little sister down the isle, it was so sweet. For the wedding we were seated at tables and we stayed at those tables for the reception and dinner. It was so fun, they did breakfast for dinner with tons of gourmet cheeses, all the berries you could imagine, waffles, quiche, sausage, bacon, eggs, and hash browns....so yumm! Sorry, I cut out about when the food came out, so the last picture I have was when the reception was starting. When I smelled the food I forgot all about the camera for the rest of the evening. It was just too fun, also there were so many people I hadn't seen in so long and I just had to mingle.
Rock on æ, great wedding!!! :P
If you want to see more pictures that I took of the wedding, I have an album in my flickr photos: æ wedding
The Cutest Ring Bearers EVER
I will get to the actual wedding and all those details in the post to come, but for now here are the cutest ring bearers ever. They had a mission to accomplish and they did an excellent job. Their little peddle pushers, bloomers or short pants were just fab, the socks the shoes the black bow ties and the little reporter boy hats, so amazingly cute that everyone ahhhhhhed and oooooooed them down the isle.
Both Oliver and Jackson stepped up the standard of ring bearers, with one minor "I have to go potty" glitch nearing the end of the ceremony. Still, as far as what you can expect from a 3 and 5 year old, they out performed them all. I was one proud mamma, and they were especially delighted with the gift their aunt (the bride) bought for them, a set of remote control crash test dummy cars, perfect. It was all perfect.
Over Wedding Prep and Converse All Stars
Over food, flies and some cool summer days we bonded with Andrew and Ellyn (my husband's little sister) while prepping the barn for their wedding. It was labor intensive, and the kids were strung out and allowed way too much tv, but it was such a special time to be with them that it was hard to give up a second of it.
One of the days we (unplannedly) even all showed up decked out in converse all stars of all colours and sizes to string up lights, and ride the forklift in style. It was memories in the making.
