On the Christmas of my senior year of High School, my mom stayed up all night sewing me a Regency Era dress. I had always wanted on and so she made on for me and then an outfit for my youngest sister (she was 4 at the time). I wore it to church. My parents are missionaries in West Africa, so they didn't think it was out of the ordinary to wear an outfit like that in Western Culture. It was such a beautiful outfit and everything about it showed how much my mother loved me. Oh, I will post my favorite christmas story.
