Well, I finished another read- the second book in the series I started called The Color of Water.

So far:
The Color of Earth 320 pages (Complete)
The Color of Water 320 pages (Complete)
A Wrinkle in Time 50 pages
Family Planning 80 pages

Total: 770 pages

I feel much better now. I am at home, the boys are in bed. I am sitting with husband and two cats and am finally warm! The library is freezing. It looks like I read a ton, but really I haven't those two long books were really quick graphic novels.

How are you holding up? Have you gotten your second wind yet (or third or fourth)? What book are you reading now?

  1. I was gonna say Wow, you’ve read twice as much as me! But yeah graphic novels are good for racking up the pages huh? LOL :D I’m quite bleary-eyed and bleary-brained, but I’m going to do my best at the challenges…hopefully I won’t make too bad a showing ;p I’m reading A Separate Peace right now, really enjoying it.

  2. I think that I will take one of the copies of Surviving Paradise. Those graphic novels look great by the way.

  3. And this is when I bail. I had thought of staying up later, but I’m done. I’m satisfied and content, and now want nothing more than my pillow and blanket. I’ll be thinking of you all (maybe not so much) through the night and will try to stop by and give a little cheer for those still reading when I wake up in the morn!

  4. Sadly, I’m really just beginning!!! I’m off to finish making a few more comments and then to read for a few hours. I have a LOT of catching up to do!!

  5. You finished two novels of 300+ pages? I’m impressed.

LOL, the Mad Libs is the best mini-challenge ever! Every read-a-thon should have one.

  6. I hope you’re having fun! Stay warm.
