Can’t do Dewey’s Read-A-Thon? JOIN US!!
A couple of weeks ago when our church planned a woman’s retreat for this weekend, I was thrilled- then I realized something. It was scheduled for the same weekend as the Read-A-Thon. I am a book geek, nerd, freak yes it is true, and I LOVE THE READ-A-THON!! I love reading for a full day and testing the limits of my sanity. Check out my Vlog from last time if you think I am exaggerating. Yeah, I knew you’d be convinced.
If you are in the same boat and can’t do Dewey’s Read-A-Thon you should join up for this one! If you are doing Dewey’s Read-A-Thon and just need to get a ton of reading done, join up! You can read for as long as you want during the 24 hours. I have a hard time staying up all night, but I try to make it. This will be my third Read-A-Thon and each time it gets BETTER! It would be even better with you…so if you are on the fence, join in-even for a bit of it.

*You can read for the full 24 hours or sign in for the first half or second or whenever you can!

I will most certainly try to read with you!! October is always a bad month. The weekends my kids play soccer/football. Not so much happening in December. At least not that early in the month!!
I plan to do the upcoming read-a-thon but I would love to be a part of another one in December!

Thank you Bethany!! I’ve been wanting to do a readathon but the one in the spring and this one coming up don’t work out for me. Saturday’s are hard – but that particular Saturday in December will work brilliantly! I’m so excited.

I’ve been terrible about reviewing lately (I blame my busy teaching schedule!), but I’ve loved participating in past ‘thons and was really disappointed to miss out on this one. I’m glad to get another chance!
I started Dewey’s late, I’ll make it up for this one!
Ah, this is awesome! I was so sad not to be able to do Dewey’s today – go figure, it’s the one day this month I actually had something to do! I followed the action today on Twitter when I could, and I was so jealous! I’m glad I won’t have to wait until April to make up for it -thanks!
I didn’t know about Dewey’s until it was all over, and a friend pointed me here. I won’t be able to do the entire day, my kids have a party for Judo. But I’ll read as much as possible

This rocks! I missed Dewey’s due to house renos. I will make sure to clear Dec. 5th and 6th for the readathon. Already figuring out which books i want to read. My birthday’s the 7th, so it will be my gift to me!
I’ll sign up now and add it to my calendar; can’t guarantee I’ll be all in, but I’ll definitely give it a shot!
YAY! This last week was mid-terms week at my University and I fell asleep after five hours and only woke up with three hours remaining! I am so excited about this one that you’re proposing!!! This one should be early enough before midterms that there shouldn’t be any books or projects due!
I will have the whole office of BookSwim.com participating the friday before and myself will be participating with my wife the day of.

I didn’t get to do the last read a thon just because it was impossible this time round (in laws in town and a meet up) so this falls exactly on my bday and what better way to spend my bday then reading
