Great review! This was one of the best graphic novels I'd read in a long time. I really enjoyed how there was some really serious messages and thoughts but they came across so much clearer in this format than perhaps they would have in just words.

How have I totally missed the existence of this blog? I'm so happy to find it and looking forward to adding a lot of things to my 'to read' list.

Yay! I can see your blog again. I hope that link I gave you helped. :)

I loved American Born Chinese. "American Born Chinese is clever, sarcastic, brutal, and %100 honest." I totally agree. And it does it all with such a good heart. All through the book, I could just feel Gene Luen Yang's heart and soul coming through the story. So wonderful.
