We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and there was so much to enjoy. Crabs, sharks and eels were the favourites for the kids, but petting the starfish and stingray was what I enjoyed best. I never knew how soft and velvet-like stingray are, and starfish which I thought would be softer feel like irregular rocks covered in extremely bumpy sandpaper and were not tender at all. The Oregon Coast Aquarium was well worth the trip and it was not just a place to capture the attention of the littlest members of our family, we were all completely engulfed in the underwater sea creature exploration. The perfect day trip for sure!

Very nice! I didn’t realize they still had the Oddwater exhibit there. We were over there last August and that was so cool. It was the first time we’d been there since way back when Keiko the whale was still there.

My favorites are the otters, but it’s usually too crowded around them to get decent pictures.
