Hi! I stumbled upon your blog from a post on Pinterest for your dreadlock shampoo recipe! There aren’t that many good resources for dreads out there so I appreciate your journey and tips!! I am also a born again Christian Mommy who has dreads and I’m the ONLY one I know!! I get the questions ALL the time. :) I’d love to swap tips/tricks with the dreads, and hear more of your testimony. I am so happy that you stopped by! Yeah, the barefoot- or even minimal running thing is a whole different thing, but I find that it makes running more interesting again.

Yes, the bread recipe- I keep getting tons of good feedback from friends and family who absolutely LOVE it and I am thrilled since I love it too :) I hope you like it. I agree, I have the same problem with paying $4-$6 per loaf, especially with growing boys! You have to think ahead a little but it is awesome to make your own. Let me know how it goes and if you have questions.

I go to Calvary Chapel here in Corvallis, where do you go to church?

I am so happy to come across your blog. My brother has been running with some new shoes too and I sent him your article about barefoot running. I am a runner, but not sure if I want to go that route yet.

Very interested in your bread recipe! Tired of paying $6.00 a loaf at Great Harvest and I like good bread!!

Beautiful kids!! Mine are growing up and I miss those years:) So I do daycare in my home to keep little ones around!

Wow I am so pleased to read about your family journey. I am a mother of five, former dread lock girl. I often feel I am the only women like me. I don’t meet women like you round these parts. Anyway the biggest surprise of our similarity is faith and love for Christ. As someone else said it is not allways easy to express that out in this world. It is almost like people think your unintelligent or just a nut. I know that the last year my faith has become my life and honestly I have never been happier. I am so joyful and able to live in the moment. So thank you for being out there for everyone to see!

I have silkies they are adorable -think about that for next spring!

Hi there! I love your dreads. I’m going to be getting my first set and will be traveling from LA up to Vancouver, BC in a couple weeks. Do you happen to know any good salons along the west coast that you would recommend?? Thanks so much!
