Meet the Julius Dog. Don’t Come too Close or He’ll Lick You to Death!

Meet Julius our dog!

A medium sized Golden Doodle (Golden Retriver /Poodle). He is 3 years old and enjoys pleasing his humans. Julius is my new running buddy! We've gone each morning so far and we both love it. He is getting in shape quickly, I would guess he thinks he is in doggie boot camp.

I never thought we'd get a dog, at least not for a long time with all the animals we have,  but when my sister-in-law let us know they were trying to find a home for this little doggie not even Brad could resist. The more we get to know him the better we like him.

I was pretty worried about the time it would take to train him with our rabbit, cats, and chickens but he is exceeding my wildest dreams. We have only had one bite and that was the rabbit biting me because I was introducing them. We have had one chicken chase, which earned a very sad dog some crate time. No harm done, but I wanted to make sure he knew I was very upset-that seems the worst punishment for him.

He loves the snow too, you'll know what I mean when I post the snow pictures I just took- Julius is fabulous entertainment!

It is nice to have a new photo subject too...so I hope you don't get bored with dog pictures. I certainly will not tire of posting them. (hehehe...)
