Can’t do Dewey’s Read-A-Thon? Join Us!

readathon

A couple of weeks ago when our church planned a woman's retreat for this weekend, I was thrilled- then I realized something. It was scheduled for the same weekend as the Read-A-Thon. I am a book geek, nerd, freak yes it is true, and I LOVE THE READ-A-THON!! I love reading for a full day and testing the limits of  my sanity. Check out my Vlog from last time if you think I am exaggerating. Yeah, I knew you'd be convinced.

If you are in the same boat and can't do Dewey's Read-A-Thon you should join up for this one! If you are doing Dewey's Read-A-Thon and just need to get a ton of reading done, join up! You can read for as long as you want during the 24 hours. I have a hard time staying up all night, but I try to make it. This will be my third Read-A-Thon and each time it gets BETTER! It would be even better with you...so if you are on the fence, join in-even for a bit of it.

Sign Ups are located below, if you want more of your bookie buddies to join up-post it on your blog! Feel free to grab the button  too. Mostly just get ready to read yourself silly!!

Read-A-Thon Button in two sizes:

  1. Can I sign up first and see whether I can really join later? :P
I signed up to Dewey’s readathon but just realize this week that there’s a huge chance I have to bail out. I’d really love to join your readathon if possible! And what lovely buttons you have!

  2. Ohhhh…I am going to try to do the read-a-thon this weekend, but I may interested in trying for two in one season! Let me see how school work pans out between now and then.

    Enjoy your church retreat!

  3. Hmmm – might have to think about this one . . .

  4. very tempting. i like any excuse to say i have to read all day. however, that start time is scary; it would be 4 am for me. yikes! i’ll see how the other read-a-thon goes and decide after about this one. i’m pretty sure i’ll be in though. :)

  5. It *is* tempting! So I decided to join in, even if it will be totally weird with the different timezones (I guess I will start late at Saturday night here lol) but it gives me a reason to kickstart my reading here in China….sofar I have been reading nothing at all. Which is ok, ’cause a new life in a foreign country takes its time…but *I so long to read again*.

  6. I’d join you but that’s my birthday weekend and we’re going out of town. Have fun! :D

  7. Okay, I’m in!! I think my hubby will be around more and I’m hoping to redeem myself a bit after Dewey’s readathon! :) Can’t wait!!

  8. Awesome! I need another Read-a-thon to catch up from all the books that I didn’t read in the last Read-a-thon!

  9. I love Read-A-Thons! I am super excited to read this Saturday!

  10. I needed this. I’ve fallen so far behind, it’s going to be more like a “read-and-write-a-thon.”
