And love tomatoes as well. You did quite a bit, 40 Wow! We have been city people until now (due to work) but I remember my childhood full of harvesting fruit and veggies. We never canned tomatoes though (my dad always got the fresh ones from his customers so I guess that's why) but we made jams and compotes and things like that and of course put a lot from the harvest into the freezer as well.
