Take a Hike: Chip Ross Park, Corvallis Or.
Something happens to us when the sun in Oregon begins to shine and it warms up enough to get outside and enjoy it. You'll be able to tell that these are from the early spring, branches are still bare, and it is muddy. As a family we take to the outdoors really well. The boys love this hike, it is the Chip Ross Park hike, which is about 1.5 miles. The can both do the whole thing, pretty happily and it is rewarding because of the amazing view from up top.
When it gets nice outside we think of hiking, walking around the neighborhood, and enjoying the parks and playgrounds any day of the week we want without the school kids there!
What do you look forward to doing all rainy season when it gets nice enough outside?

I should go to Chip Ross park it’s just up the road from us.
We usually walk around the neighborhood.
Debbie and I would walk the trail by the fairgrounds that was always nice.
Mostly we garden because we live on a acre there is always something that needs taking care of.

I can just smell the fresh air seeping out of your post. Absolutely lovely, Bethany. We have to drive about an hour to get scenery like this (minus the mountains since we don’t have any), but it’s so hot that it is miserable to be outside.
So glad you guys are able to enjoy the outdoors. By the way–I’ve been missing you latley.

What great photos of your boys! Although the one with your younger son looking at the plaque and holding the stick, with the older one climbing up, made me shout inside my head, “Be careful! You’ll put your eye out!”
