michael- I wish I had some idea of what you are talking about. Huh, that was a weird comment to leave for sure. Better luck next time.

Trish- I actually don't like it, it has to be cooked perfectly in order for me to like it...jerky is my weakness.

I will check into the subscribing to comments thing! Thanks for letting me know!

Susan- I loved Animal, Vegetable, Miracle! It was a great read. However I take that kind of book with a grain of salt, as many people could not afford to live that way. I do try to know where my food comes from though. That is what I have been up to lately, planting a HUGE garden and we have our own chickens too. Yes, we have an urban farm for sure.

I eat seafood. I've lost my taste for all breathing food. We've cut back on fish, too. Seen too many shows about how we've over-fished the waters. Have you read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver? If I ate meat, I'd like to eat meat that I knew was harvested humanely.

I LOVE steak. :) I don't cook it because I don't know how, but you've got my mouth watering. Guess I'll go have a bowl of ice cream. :P

LOL--sorry to keep bringing this up. Looks like I can only subscribe to follow up comments for the book posts? I know I'm a pain, but I love subscribing to comments!!

You are not vegetarians at all, in any way, shape, or form. Rather, you are opportunistic scavengers.
