Susan Boyle Takes Second Place in Britain’s Got Talent Show
The dearest Susan Boyle of Scotland takes second place in the Britain’s Got Talent show. The ride so far seems to have been nothing less than a roller-coaster, onto which Bolye has held on and kept up the pace. In her last performance she out-sings the shouts of the critics and fans alike in an encore of my favourite “I Dreamed a Dream” from the Les Miserables musical. It earned a well deserved standing ovation from fans and judges.
The judges expected a first place for Susan, but the voters chose the a group of British street performers instead. She got first in my book, I don’t care what everyone else says. She is incredible, and stuck it out even after seriously considering quitting because of criticisims. Read the full story on google news, of Susan Boyle’s ups and downs, and the scramble to the finish line.

Gosh, I love this woman. Her talent is so incredibly pure and I can’t wait to see where it takes her!
I can’t wait either! She is not “cool” at all, but her talent is HUGE.
The poor woman is all over the news for having to go to the hospital for exhaustion. I feel so bad for her. I would be exhausted, too! She went from total anonymity to everyone knowing her face and voice in like 7 weeks! That must be so hard.
Yes, I was fearing what fame could do to her. She seemed almost like she was oblivious to it in so many ways, but it is hard to have it not be a factor at all. I hope it all calms down, and she can hide away again and release a CD or something.
