I love Dickens because of his rambling too, lol! I haven’t read A Christmas Carol but loved Great Expectations and David Copperfield. :)

Ds and I just read this last week. (If you have Comcast, they also have the 1938 movie version available On Demand- I noticed that the night we went to see it at the library, lol.)
Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities is also one of my favorites, and this was the first year I'd ever read A Christmas Carol.

I liked it, a lot. And my favorite Christmas book...There's The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. And, of course, The Night Before Christmas!

I just read this for the first time yesterday. I really loved it! The only other Dickens book I’ve managed to read was Great Expectations when I was in middle school.
